Create Discounts and Product Promotions
You can apply for discounts and coupons in your Flightsim.to My Products dashboard. Please note that it takes up to 48 hours until we activate these discounts and they become active. You should therefore apply for a discount two days before your planned Start Date if possible.
You can create discounts for any or all of your products. When you have filled in the required fields, click on "Request Discount" to apply for the discount. Our team will then check your request and activate the discount at the given times.
- Expired: This means a discount has expired.
- Pending: This means a discount needs to be activated by our team. This can take up to 48 hours.
- Active: This means a discount is currently active and enabled.
Special Promotions
Products with a reduced price are highlighted by a yellow "Sale" banner on to the product tiles and also featured on our on-sale page. At our sole discretion, we will also place banners on the homepage or advertise the discounts on social media or newsletters. If you have special occasions or promotional assets, please contact your account manager with a request for further highlighting and we will check if this is possible.
Limits
- You can run a launch discount, but once your launch discount ends, you cannot run any other discounts for 3 weeks.
- It is not possible to discount your product for 14 days following a price increase.
- Discounts cannot be run within 2 weeks of your prior discount, with the exception of store-wide seasonal events or other specific Flightsim.to-organized sale events.
- Discounts for seasonal sale events cannot be run within 30 days of releasing your title or 30 days from when your launch discount ends.
- You may not change your price while a promotion is live.
- It is not possible to discount a product 100%.
- Custom discounts cannot last longer than two weeks, or run for shorter than 1 day.
