This folder contains a repaint for the Republic P-47D Razorback by Aeroplane Heaven. It shows P-47D-5-RE 42-8476 YJ-X Little Demon in two versions:
1. as flown by Captain Walter C. Beckham of the 351st FS, 353rd FG, based in Metfield, UK, October 1943. The aircraft was later transferred to the 78th FG and was written off after a crash landing in March 1944. Walt Beckham was promoted to major and continued scoring, until he reached 18 victories in mid February 1944, at that moment the highest score in the ETO. However, on the 22nd February, on his 57th mission, he was shot down by flak while flying Little Demon II and captured.
2. as warbird N47DG, in reality 42-25068. It was flown in this paintscheme, with red outlines to the roundels, between 1982 and 1992. It later went to the UK where it flew as 78th FG "Snafu", and it currently undergoing restauration in the US.
