"Congo Queen" was an iconic DC-3 in Sweden flown by Åke Jansson and kept by the Vallentuna Aviatörförening from 1995 until 2020.
Originally ordered by the US Army Air forces in 1944, she was delivered to the RAF in 1948 and one year later she crossed back the Atlantic to serve with the RCAF, where she flew until 1977, she was then bought by Åke Jansson and flew passenger and cargo for many years in west africa, aqcuiring it's nickname until policial unrest made her move once again, this time to Sweden.
The DC-3 was sold to a chinese museum in 2021 and is still in flying condition but in new collors.
