The special airfield Thannhausen is the airfield of the Swabian town Thannhausen in the district Günzburg. It is operated by the Mittelschwäbischen Luftsportverein e. V..

Again, I tried to recreate an airfield near me that does not yet exist in the simulator. As always I tried to achieve a high recognition value.

Almost everything you can see was drawn by hand in CAD and textured with my own photos and pictures from the internet.

As a small enrichment of the Scenery are the parachute target jumpers to guest which also jump in real life now and then here.

Since I can not draw everything myself, I fall back on a few very useful libraries that improve the game experience.

The airfield Thannhausen is beautifully located between numerous bathing lakes. Since August 2009 there is also one of the biggest water ski and wakeboard facilities in Germany right next to the airfield.

Maybe I will add the original buildings in the future.

For installation just copy the files into the community folder.

Suggestions for improvement I try to insert in the context of my possibilities.
