The Rip Van Winkle Bridge is named after the story by Washington Irving published in 1819. The story mentions the two towns it connects: Hudson, NY and Catskill, NY. It's 104 miles north of New York City. This mile-long bridge is a combination Deck-truss and double-cantilever design common in long low river crossings.
You might also want to check out my Sleepy Hollow Lighthouse right here in flightsim.to, another Hudson River landmark named after the rich literary world set around the Hudson River.
This bridge is another in my over 40 NYC Bridges collection. All of my bridges are very framerate-friendly.
Really nice. Here's a tour of several bridges on the Hudson.
Thank you for making these!

Well, I don't know just what the coordinates of the bridge really are, but they certainly aren't where you day they are - which is in deepest Kyrgyzstan! Just double click on them and see.

The longitude got switched to positive. I've fixed it. Thanks for the alert. Sorry.

Thank you for all of these bridges - I need to fly up/down the Hudson again...perhaps starting near Lake Tear of the Clouds 😊

Maybe you could bundle them all into one file and offer it (for a fee of course).
Thank you !!
