Someone requested to light up european cities in the ukrainian colors in order to show solidarity with the country and the awful situation they're in at the moment. This took inspiration from the real life where many cities are illuminating their landmarks and cities in yellow and blue colors.
I had this idea in mind already and the fact that it has been requested just made me go that final step and actually do it.
Following cities around the european continent received illuminated landmarks:
Augsburg, Berlin, Dresden, Hamburg, Leipzig, Munich, Nuremberg, Oberhausen
Rest of Europe:
Amsterdam, Barcelona, Brussels, Graz, Kopenhagen, London, Madrid, Marseille, Nottingham, Paris, Rome, Venice, Vienna, Zurich
Some cities have multiple illuminated landmarks (Berlin, Barcelona, London)
In order to make the scenery work you'll need the following files:
https://de.flightsim.to/file/2549/edhk-lights-pack (absolutely essential, otherwise this whole scenery is pointless!)
https://de.flightsim.to/file/29221/construction-crane-library (fully optional, if you want to have visible cranes at the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona)
https://de.flightsim.to/file/16007/msfs-object-library-with-150-models-ranging-from-towers-hangers-terminals-to-cones (only needed - and even then optional - if the cranes at Sagrada Familia are present, this will be the red obstacle lights for them)
Also all world updates need to be installed as well as photogrammetry has to be turned on.
Due to LOD issues the lights might appear relatively late. It works just fine in scenery editor but I experienced a different behavior in the actual sim.
Open the downloaded file and place the "chrispiaviation_prayforukraine" folder inside the community folder.
