Presenting the default Boeing F/A-18E Super Hornet in the colours of Air Test and Evaluation Squadron VX-31 "Dust Devils". Located out of Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake, VX-31 conduct testing and evaluation of aircraft including different variants of the Hornet and Super Hornet, as well as Av-8b Harriers.
This particular look featured onF/A-18C 165210 ‘5210’ which was specially painted for the Centennial of Naval Aviation marked in 2011.
Fantastic job. There is only one slight problem with this paint job. It's not on an F/A-18E. The actual aircraft it is on is an F/A-18C which isn't a Super Hornet, it on what we call a baby Hornet. I know it really doesn't matter lol. Just figured I'd let you know.
P.S. If you want you can put 101 as a side number as that is the side number of the actual aircraft. It would go on the outboard corners of the Trailing Edge Flaps (the flap section of the wing that doesn't fold)

Thanks for the kind words. I wasn't able to find any images online showing the side number as you described. Would you have any by chance? I'd be reluctant to add anything without a visual reference to work off of.

Just went through the full download -> extraction -> drag and drop process to double check it worked for me and it did. Can you try again and if it doesn't work let me know exactly what the issue is.

Thanks for the paint scheme. Is there any way to replace the civilian pilot with a military one?
