This is a highly detailed scenery of Helsinki Airport. ( EFHK / HEL )

Helsinki Airport is the largest airport in Finland. In 2019 almost 22 million passengers traveled via Helsinki Airport.

The scenery is based on a file by kumihiiri. Special thanks to him for his work on the scenery.

1. Click ‘’Download 1.5’’
2. Unzip the file and copy ‘’efhk-helsinki’’ to your MSFS Community folder

I give you of course 5 Stars for your work and the very nice airport. Unfortunately the suggested Addons don´t work for me. I get a failure trying to install the VDS (not your fault) and Passengers walk besides the jetway´s (not your fault) But thank you for the scenery.

Is this using default lights because i am about to buy improved lights from msfs marketplace (Enhanced runway lights)? This works if airfield is using default lights.

Yes, the runway and taxiway lighting is done using the default assets.

Great job, but cant use with RTX3090 Ultra setting, because loading time is very very long.
Have any solution ?

Hi! I haven't personally noticed unusually long loading times with the scenery. However, sometimes when you load a new file for the first time, it takes longer than usual. And if you are comparing to the default scenery, the loading will take longer since the file size is a lot bigger. Please contact me with a direct message if you still have issues with the loading times.

Bad jetway data. Double waypoints for parking positions. Any chance you could maybe have a look at it and time permitting, possibly fix it?

By double waypoints for parking positions, do you mean that there are two starting points for each gate? This can be caused by GSX. If you are using GSX, please open the GSX installer and go to "Config" and under jetway configuration search for "EFHK" and move it to "Disabled" and click "Apply" on the right-hand side. After that, restarting the simulator should fix the issue. This will also remove GSX autogenerated jetways and revert to the jetways included in the scenery.

Something is wrong with the presentation of the taxiways etc. There are incomplete representations in the LittleNavMap map.
I do not use GSX and VDGS, which is why I have not installed these add-ons. The MOD "dem-for-finland-20-meter-resolution" is installed.

Hello! It certainly appears that the taxiway data shows up very incomplete in Little NavMap. I will take another look at the in-game taxinetwork for the next update.

Please could you check the gate labelling? Not the visible ground labels, but the coding labels. I think some of the W gates may be mis-labelled.

hi, when using this scenery and the g1000 avionics and trying to load the ILS 04R approach, the "primary frequency" field is empty. when using the default scenery, that field reads "111.5" and when the approach is loaded, both of the nav radios change to that frequency. this scenery should do that too.

If you are using the latest version of the scenery. All ILS data should be default meaning no custom ILS data is included. I am currently not able to verify this due to issues with my MSFS installation but I will get back to you as soon as possible.

This is caused by the way MSFS handles snow. There is less snow on dark surfaces and more snow on light surfaces. RWY22R has a newer and therefore darker asphalt texture which results in less snow. This is an issue that Asobo is aware of and to my knowledge they are working on fixing it soon.
