Princess Juliana International Airport (IATA: SXM, ICAO: TNCM) is the main airport on the Caribbean island of Saint Martin. The airport is located on the Dutch side of the island, in the country of Sint Maarten, close to the shore of Simpson Bay Lagoon. In 2015, the airport handled 1,829,543 passengers and around 60,000 aircraft movements. The airport serves as a hub for Winair and is the major gateway for the smaller Leeward Islands, including Anguilla, Saba, Saint Barthélemy and Sint Eustatius. It is named after Queen Juliana of the Netherlands, who landed there while she was heir presumptive in 1944, the year after the airport opened. The airport has very low-altitude flyover landing approaches because one end of its runway is extremely close to the shore and Maho Beach. While Princess Juliana International is the primary aviation gateway to the island, there is also a smaller public-use airport on the French side, in the French Collectivity of Saint Martin, called Grand Case

So... Does this have the people on the beach? And I have to ask... Why does it seem like so many people want the static aircraft removed? That may well be a stupid question, but I find empty airports to appear post-apocalyptic.

Because it's not the scenery's job to put aircraft on stand. Scenery should be scenery only. There are some incredible addons out there that do traffic and aircraft at airports, we should leave it to them.

Appreciate your effort but v2.1 breaks the jetways for me and frames/smoothness rougher for me on my setup vs. the Asobo version.

Just having one issue: I'm getting blue taxiway light posts in the middle of the runway at Princess Juliana. Grand Case doesn't have this issue.
Thanks for sharing these! Hopefully you'll be able to replicate and fix what I'm seeing here. I did disable all other add-ons to make sure it wasn't "outside interference." Here's a screenshot: https://imgur.com/iqZOlNv

Couldn't help to respond! Saint Martin Intl. is located on the dutch part of Saint Martin, the island is located in the carribean sea and it is part of The Netherlands, Formally known as The Netherlands Antilles. Though Grand Case airport is located on the same island but serves the French side of Saint Martin.
