Simwings EDDM V2 GSX Profile

This is my Profile for Simwings EDDM V2

The whole Airport is complete with the features you can find below.

This profile is made for the payware EDDM by Simwings found >>>here<<<

IMPORTANT

The VDGS is NOT missing. The GSX VDGS is seamlessly integrated into the AS VDGS casing so you will only see the screen! If you load in and see "chocks on" or "EDDM Gate xxx" That is the GSX VDGS working!

If you want to use Aerosofts VDGS, please use the ASVDGS version. This version does NOT include any GSX VDGS.

What’s Included?

->          Custom vehicle placement

->          Custom pushback positioning and naming

->          Custom Terminal Walkers

->          VDGS placement where it is needed - screen only VDGS

->          Custom De-Ice pads

->          custom jetway root floorheights where needed

How to install?

Simply place the provided .ini file into %appdata%/virtuali/GSX/MSFS

-          If any problems arise have a look at the install guide provided with the profile.

How to report a problem?

If you have a problem with the installation or there is something wrong with the profile, please let me know either here or on our Community Discord. I will make sure to help in any way I can.

If you know more about the ground operations, I am trying to replicate, please let me know so I can improve my work and bring you the best possible profile.

Hi Simon, thanks for the profile. It's very nice, however I have a problem at stand 182 and similiar stands that the view to the VGDS ist somehow blocked by the scenery vgds pole in front so I can only see part of the gsx VGDS. Am I doing something wrong? Can you help?

This is by FAR the best GSX profile, i've ever seen in this game. Just the fact that disembarking pax, use the full lenght of the jetway AND take the stairs inside the terminal to follow the "exit" path for the pax, is INCREDIBLE !!! What a level of REALISM this adds to the gam !

Pretty good but is it normal that for pushback on E1 i can not chose any other than Left and Right. The Blue and Orange Lines would be nice 😊

Just a query, not sure if it's a config problem or GSX.. but when i got to DA1 I was waiting nearly 10 mins for de-ice trucks they spawned at like the cmopelte opposite side of the airport and drove through the highway and grass to get there.

Any ideas?

I doubt everything else is okay except for the pushback. Check your installation, I really recommend reading the install guide! There is no separate file for the pushbacks so its all or nothing when it comes to GSX profiles

All stands should work... Are you on the latest version of the scenery? I will definitely add it to my growing to-do list, I just don't have too much time currently unfortunately

Not related to this profile, but many jetways are criss-crossing in this airport. Hope SimWings will fix it.
(eg. far left jetway goes through the jetway closer to the aircraft, crazy)

Hi Simon,

on gate B222 (with A32NX), the second jetway - the one farer away from the aircraft - is connecting. Which looks weird. But I don't know if it is because of the stop position maybe too far in, or if it's an airport/scenery problem with EDDM V2.

Every MSFS gate can only have one working jetway. I guess Simwings decided to do the aft jetway. I don't know if they ever gonna fix it, but I cant unfortunately

You need to use Aerosofts VDGS client to use the VDGS with that Version...

Thats why its named ASVDGS

Hey everybody.

The V2 update did not make too many changes in the AFACD, so the profile is still usable.

However, I will make a new profile from scratch to fix some of my little mistakes, include the little changes, and add a few new things.

Be patient this will take some time

What will be new:

  • pushback order and naming (Should be easier to find the correct one now)
  • Airline codes for the right gates (if you know where which airlines exclusively park, let me know)
  • VDGS - only screen now no model (The GSX VDGS is an only screen version perfectly integrated into the AS casing)

I would like to know if you have any plans for a profile for the version 2 of EDDM? The airport is fantastic and i think it would be ever more with your GSX profile!

I will of course update the profile once the V2 Version is out. I will have a look at the amount of work I have to do and decide then if it's going to be an update here or a separate upload.

But there will definitely be a profile for the V2 from me

Sounds like you didn´t install the profile correctly! All the Pushbacks you need are available, and I cant add something that is already there

Yes, thats all you need to do! You can make sure that the API is indeed enbabled, by going into the airport customization screen. The AFCAD Path at the top of the window should now be gone.
