Welcome to the Lighthouses for Alaska, USA add-on scenery project by Return to Misty Moorings (RTMM).
For the most part, lighthouses are not modelled in the default MSFS simulator hence this project was undertaken by designers at Return to Misty Moorings (RTMM) to create and populate the missing lighthouses for Alaska for this simulator. The AK lighthouses, their latitude/longitude locations were confirmed and add-on scenery was created as best as possible according to the appearance of the real lighthouse at that location.
Each lighthouse has also been assigned a unique ICAO for our flight simulation purposes. They are all recognized as identifiable airport locations in the MSFS simulator, LittleNavMap, Plan G and as well are identifiable in RTMM's Misty Flying Club Virtual Airline.
With the creation of the lighthouses and induction into the sim and mapping program, alike sea plane bases, a refreshed avenue of bush flying with water moorings to these lighthouse locations are introduced into this sim.
The flightplan for this lighthouse trip visits 18 lighthouse locations in Alaska. The trip is 1572 nautical miles (1809.025 miles) or (2911.34 km), so it might take a few outings to travel to all of the lighthouses in this trip but again, each lighthouse has an identifiable ICAO so easy to pickup where you left off.. The last two lighthouses are on Unimak Island on the Aleutian Chain of Islands, some 745 nm west of Cordova.
This download consists of the lighthouse flight plan, map and lighthouse index. The flight departs from Prince Rupert BC and heads north crossing the border into Alaska and exploring all of the lighthouse locations on the mainland then heading west on the Aleutian chain of islands to Unimak Island to visit the two "far west" Alaskan lighthouse locations.
All of these newly created :"real life" lighthouses have are water moorings so bring an amphibian. For helicopter pilots out there, most of these lighthouses have helipads or spots to set down close to the lighthouses.

Further documentation for this trip, the lighthouse addon scenery pieces for this excursion and the supporting RTMM object libraries, that are required, and gammit of other scenery downloads such as SPB, Cabins, Dockages, Lodges as well as liveries, ai boats, a full forum etc, (All of it freeware), can be found on the RTMM Site:

The purpose of the RTMM site is to offer FREEWARE to flight simmers giving them a wide variety of scenery locations to explore throughout Alaska, Western Canada and vicinity.
This is Bush flying at it's best.

Loved RTMM in FSX and I'm glad it continues in MSFS 2020! I saw on the RTMM site that your scenery is not compatible with the Orbx Alaska mesh. Is that still the case? Thanks!

Well we waited for the Orbx Mesh update, so now the lighthouses are ok again. So now all should be ok.

Thank you for bring this back to us. I remember this from the FS2004 days. It'll be great to revisit these sites!

Thank you for this... and the rest of RTMM 😊 😊
Just re-downloaded everything from your site, and there's a lot of new stuff since last time I visited.

Well there are now over 200 USFS cabins locations, 66 lighthouses, 25 seaplane bases and several "stand-alone" scenery actual locations. All of our locations are "REAL" except one which is Misty's Place the RTMM HQ. The rest are/will fall into the "real entry" policy: nothing fictitious. The locations are either missing in MSFS or enhancements to MSFS.

OMG! I had to edit and install days worth of RTMM and tongass to P3D and I loved it. Misty's Place by Ketchikan and all of the glacier camps, hydro, pipeline, logging, fishing camps, canneries, lodges and USFS cabins. Glad people are bringing RTMM to MSFS!

I remember this place from FS2004. It brings back a lot of memories. Thank you very much for bringing the old place back to life.

Took a bit from the FS9 to get to the FSX/P3D days, and now into MSFS. Many who have progressed to MSFS enjoy flying in the AK/BC vicinity with many RTMM added enhancements/add-ons already created. In MSFS, all scenery will be real world locations, except the token HQ which is of course, Misty's Place. All these adds make a great addition to this sim. Appreciate your comment. Thank-you.
