This scenery is 'Proof of Concept' and it is going to evolve ... a lot.
My thanks go to Thealx (Touching Clouds) for the wealth of information and support he has given me for this development.
The 'Ingenuity' Mars helicopter would be perfect for this scenery https://flightsim.to/file/22668/ingenuity-mars-helicopter
=================================================
The Mars Test Facility (MTF), located in a remote area of Jordan, has been developed for testing the starships and rovers that will, one day, become commonplace on Mars, the ICAO code PZ60 can be used to start you at the location. Astronauts are also sent to the MTF for training and evaluation so there will be a lot of activity as new test programmes evolve.
There is a Starship launch scheduled on the hour, every hour, and landings occur 30 minutes past the hour. It is recommended you arrive at least 5 minutes prior to an event to get a parking space :)
Due to Health and Safety restrictions all external activites are suspended during any launch window, except for Bob. Bob clearly didn't get the memo !
The dirt strip will handle GA aircraft and there are a couple of parking spots for spectators, anything larger will need some luck :)
A second Mars Alternate landing site is now located 5Nm to the South West
For you, it is an opportunity to see rockets launching and landing and to explore the savage landscape of the region and it is beautiful !
v1.0 1st release. Comments/Critique/Ideas on performance and content are very welcome
v1.1 numerous additional models and animations added. Also a second Mars alternate landing site 5Nm SW of the main facility. The additional models have been added thanks to generous donations from the flight community
Any donations for my work go straight back into developing and improving new scenery for MSFS, thank you.
This is amazing, i hope there will be a Starbase mod where you can see Starship + Superheavy launches and eventually chase it with the F/A-18 Super Hornet on its way to Space 😉

Adding a bubble that would switch to a Martian atmosphere and gravity would be SUPER cool to show people how difficult achieving sustained flight on mars is lol.
EDIT:!:!:!: THIS IS A STOL PARADISE, mountain top landings, canyon runs, cliff jumping at all of 15 kts.
Also dont forget to slew up to the max altitude to fly your approach!

That's a tad beyond the current status of the sim lol

This is a huge amount of fun. Great idea. Really put a smile on my face and showed me a beautiful part of the world too. What's next up your sleeve?

Update:
Per your direction I set the traffic to "AI-Offline" and I do see the crew walking around.
I then adjusted the time of day until the rocket appeared on the launch pad 😉
Thank you again for such a unique FS2020 experience.
Take care and all the best

What time did you adjust the time of day to? The pads are empty on my side :(

Sincere thanks for this!!!
When I went to this location from a departure selection the rocket was missing from the launch pad.
Should I wait around for it to land?
