I am going to insert all my assets i make for my scenerys into this asset pack.
After drag and drop it into the community folder you can open your project and find the assets in the objects.
Now you find 2 files. Both of them are identical. The only difference is:
one is .7z and the other is .zip !!
to find the assets search for: Mikeaat
the pack will increase over time.

Mike the extraction this time is taking a very long time - well over 3 hours. Does that sound normal to you? Is there a better way?

No, maybe you are using the wrong program? I recommend 7zip. Extract the files to a new location and move it afterwards to the community folder. Delete the old asset pack folder in the community folder bevor moving the new one.

OK 3.6. "now includes all my assets". What does that mean? I have a previous asset pack, a military pack, and an airport markings pack. Does this new version combine all of those?

No, this 3 are not combined. It is just a new version of the asset pack with some new models. You can find the description in the changelog.

Hi. I'm looking to use some of the cone models to improve default airfield but for me It's very low draw distance. Objects appear only when comes close as 150m when all other default MSFS object like windsock is visible way far away from the sky. As cones surround grass runway it's very important. Is that normal is that wrong config on my side? Also, solar panels from same package have much longer draw distance. Thanks.

the draw distance depends on the size of a object. i think at the moment you can do nothing about it. but i also dont know it exactly :) maybe someone else has a solution for this problem.

thats right because every time a new version is released everything here has to be reflaged as compatibel. The Asset Pack contains only pure basic 3d models without any fancy stuff. so i think it will allways be compatible.

No good reason for it to use 7zip, if it was using regular zip compression I would use it. While 7 zip is generally trustworthy its rediculous to require it rather than using a standards-based compression format.

Hallo,
Sobald ich einen Flug in Zeltweg starte, stürzt das Spiel bei mir ab. Es liegt (leider) an einem der drei neuen Addons (LOXZ Fliegerhorst, LOXZ Aerial oder Mike's AssetPack). Ist euch sowas bekannt oder gibt es dafür einen Workaround?

Bitte mal temporäre alle addons außer diese Drei aus dem Community Ordner entfernen und nochmals probieren. Damit wir den Fehler wirklich auf diese addons zurück führen können. Vielen Dank.

Why use 7zip? Zip files can be opened natively without needing to install extra software.

Is it possible to fully explain how to get this working from Download to it working , I did the download , unzipped, Placed in the community folder along with the other 2 files and nothing !!!! I must be doing something wrong

It is a library. Other developers can use this objects in there scenery. When you download one of those scenerys you need this pack to see the objects.

Don't know if anyone else is having issues but the new version is taking a long time to extract using 7zip

If you are trying to extract the files to your community folder directly and replace the old files, make sure to delete the old folder first. In that way the extraction is faster.
