The District Municipality of Muskoka is proud to own and operate the Muskoka Airport (CYQA). From its rich past as part of the Trans-Canada Airway; its use during WWII by the Royal Norwegian Air Force; its expansion to serve as an emergency air field for the early fighter jets of the Canadian Air Force; to today’s role as a vital transportation hub. The airport continues to provide a wealth of value to the Muskoka community.
There are several hangars that open and close randomly.
This is a large file so if you experience a decrease in your fpm, you have been warned.
This version is not complete but I needed to have it submitted by this date for the community request page. (eg not all the perimeter fencing is done.. not many planes hanging around. )
If you have comments please feel free to add them.
Suggest you also have Peterborough in your community folder as well.

Thank you so much for your time and work on these airports. I never thought I would see the day that Ontario would have such a fantastic representation in a flight simulator. For *YEARS* there was hardly any representation except for a very small handful of very talented and dedicated individuals and groups like FlightSim Ontario. Again, thank you very much. 😊

Another one of your amazing scenaries and greatly appreciated. Having started my real world flight training here at Muskoka it is great to have it well represented in MSFS 2020. Only thing missing is the ramp in the real world is full of ATRs and Q400's mostly from Flybe, haha!

Thanks .. There are a bunch of those but I am not up to speed yet on how to create aircraft. Maybe when some 3rd part freeware comes along it can be added.
I'm working on Lake Simcoe and a few others but have slowed down for the summer.

i,m having a problem with my texture colors on the roofs of the hangers, the roofs show up pink, any sugestions?
MazerMart author
It is a large file and sometime all the textures don't get completely downloaded from the flightsim.to site - download interuption etc. I would delete the first attempt and re download but make sure it is completely downloaded before you unzip. If that doesn't work send me your email address and I will we_transfer you the original file.
If you haven't already done so, I would also suggest you download Peterborough airport and include it as well in your community page.
Thanks for inquiring first before putting a poor rating on it. The problem seem specific to your situation.

Exceptional work. Very charming and tastefully done. Nice touch with the many open hangars and working doors-- lots of other details to entertain. Couldn't resist the Muskoka chairs, eh? Love 'em.

Lovely airport! The attention to detail is wonderful, this could definitely be considered a Payware airport. Many Thanks

You are welcome. Thanks for the 5 star rating too. It helps offset the wonky knees from sitting at the computer too long. :)

Can create scenery for Pembroke CYTA and Oshawa CYOO?
MazerMart author
Oshawa is in the works by Roman Design. I am sure he is going to to a fantastic job, just like Ottawa.
I have a few on the list ahead of Pembroke such as Simcoe Orillia, and I need to get some exercise before my legs turn to mush.. so I doubt that it will get done this summer. But a good suggestion for sure.
Thanks

Looking forward to checking this one out. Thank you for adding some detail to Ontario. What's next, Midland (hint hint)?
